This is via the access point, it’s in ZeroConf mode right now so until I get a firmware uploaded to it I can’t connect it to my home network

I think, you haven’t switched your 2,4 GHz WiFi off?
If no, please contact the Shop to help you. I think they’ll bet you to send the module back for checking this behavior. But please ask bevor shipping

Is it possible this is just a ZeroConf problem perhaps? I could try re-patching it

Update: I can’t flash ZeroConf either. Restore Factory Settings from the ZeroConf UI doesn’t seem to do a whole lot either
Is it worth doing a hardware reset or am I likely to not have any better results? And is it possible to run the Robonect module without the mower so that I can more readily diagnose the issue?
